For lunch, visit the Agbogbloshie Market (also known as “Sodom and Gomorrah” due to its reputation for being one of the most chaotic places in Accra). Here you can try some of the city’s best street food, including fried plantains and grilled meat.
Afternoon
3:00 PM - Visit the Ussher Fort
Spend your afternoon visiting the Ussher Fort, which dates back to the 17th century. This was originally built by the Portuguese but was later taken over by the British. Today it serves as a museum that showcases Ghana’s history.
