Bhutan Travel Itinerary - 4 Days
Day 1: Arrival in Paro

Day 2: Paro to Thimphu
- Morning: Drive to Thimphu (approx. 1 hour)
- Activity:
- Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue
- Explore the BBS Tower and National Library for stunning views of the city
- Visit the Changangkha Temple and get a glimpse into Bhutanese spirituality
- Things to know:
- The statue of Buddha Dordenma is an impressive 169 feet tall.
- Learn about Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage at the National Library.
- Transportation: Hire a car for the day (approx. $20)

Day 3: Thimphu

- Visit the National Textile Museum to learn about Bhutan’s traditional weaving techniques

- The Thimphu Dzong is one of the most iconic landmarks in Thimphu.

- Transportation: Walk around Thimphu town
Day 4: Thimphu to Paro and Departure
- Morning: Drive back to Paro (approx. 1 hour)
- Activity:
- Visit the Kyichu Lhakhang Temple
- Explore the Rinpung Dzong (Fortress) and surrounding village
- Things to know:
- The Kyichu Lhakhang is a significant temple in Bhutanese history.
- Don’t forget to take some last-minute shopping for souvenirs before departure!
- Transportation: Taxi or bus from Paro town back to the airport (approx. $5)

- Bhutan is one of the few countries that charges a daily tariff for tourists, which includes accommodation and food.
- Visa fee: $40 per person
- Daily tariff: $250 per person in high season and $200 in low season (peak tourist season is from March to May)
