Cape Verde-7-day-itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Sal Island
- Arrive at Amílcar Cabral International Airport (SID) on Sal Island
- Transfer to your hotel in Santa Maria ( approx. 10 minutes)
- Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the local market
- Things to Know: Cape Verde is a Portuguese-speaking country, but many locals also speak English and French.
- Visa Requirements: Citizens of EU countries do not need a visa to enter Cape Verde. However, check with your embassy for specific requirements.
- Transportation: You can rent a car or take taxis/tuk-tuks to get around.
Day 2: Sal Island
- Visit the beautiful beaches of Santa Maria (Praia Formosa and Praia do Espalho)
- Go snorkeling or diving in the crystal-clear waters
- Activity: Try your hand at kitesurfing or windsurfing, which are popular sports on Sal Island

Day 3: Fogo Volcano

Day 4: Santiago Island
- Fly from Sal Island to Praia on Santiago Island (approx. 30 minutes)
- Explore the island’s capital city, which is home to many historic buildings and markets
- Thing to Know: Visit the nearby beaches, such as Praia da Gamboa or Praia do Algodão.
- Transportation: Take a domestic flight from Sal Island to Santiago Island.
Day 5: Santiago Island
- Visit the stunning Natural Park of Monte Cara (approx. 1 hour)
- Explore the colonial town of Cidade Velha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Thing to Know: Try some traditional Cape Verdean cuisine, such as cachupa or bolo.

Day 6: São Vicente Island
- Fly from Praia to Mindelo on São Vicente Island (approx. 30 minutes)

Day 7: Departure
