Day 1: Arrival in San José and Transfer to Arenal
- Morning: Arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, the capital city of Costa Rica.
- Afternoon: Take a domestic flight from San José to La Fortuna, the town closest to Arenal Volcano. Alternatively, take a 3-hour bus ride or shuttle service.
