Dominica Travel Itinerary (2 Days)
Day 1: Saturday
Morning
- 08:00 AM: Start your day with a hearty breakfast at a local eatery.
- 09:00 AM: Visit the Indian River, a tranquil body of water known for its crystal-clear waters and lush surroundings. Take an early morning boat tour to spot the rare Sisserou Parrot in their natural habitat.
Afternoon
- 12:30 PM: Head over to Cascades Waterfall and enjoy a refreshing swim under the cascading waterfalls.
- 02:00 PM: Have lunch at one of the local restaurants, like Dixies, which serves delicious Creole cuisine.
Evening
- 04:30 PM: Visit the Trafalgar Falls Waterfall and marvel at its twin cascades. Be sure to take a few minutes to relax on the rocks nearby.
- 07:00 PM: End your day with dinner at one of the local restaurants in the town.
Day 2: Sunday
Morning
- 08:30 AM: Start your day by hiking up Morne Trois Pitons National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park is home to some of the most stunning landscapes and ecosystems on the island.
- 11:00 AM: Take part in some birdwatching at the Emerald Pool.
Afternoon
- 12:30 PM: Have lunch at a local eatery.
- 02:00 PM: Visit the Sulphur Springs, Dominica’s only hot spring. Soak your feet in the warm waters and take in the unique atmosphere.
