Great Britain-7-day-itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in London
- Places to Go: Buckingham Palace (open from 9am-6pm), The British Museum (open from 10am-5:30pm)
- Activities: Take a stroll along the South Bank of the Thames, grab a traditional English breakfast at a local café
- Things to Know: London is a massive city - get an Oyster card for easy travel on public transport. Be prepared for crowds and lines at popular attractions.
- Transportation: Arrive at Heathrow Airport (LHR) or Gatwick Airport (LGW), take the Tube or bus to your accommodation
- Accommodation: Stay in central London, such as Covent Garden or Soho
Day 2: Explore London
- Places to Go: The Tower of London (open from 9am-5:30pm), Tower Bridge (open from 10am-6pm)
- Activities: Take a West End musical performance, visit the famous Camden Market
- Things to Know: Be prepared for security checks at popular attractions. Don’t miss the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside Buckingham Palace.
- Transportation: Use your Oyster card or take the Tube to get around London
- Accommodation: Same as Day 1
Day 3: Travel to Oxford
- Places to Go: Christ Church College (open from 9am-5pm), Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology (open from 10am-5pm)
- Activities: Take a punting tour along the River Cherwell, visit the famous Blackwell’s bookstore
- Things to Know: Oxford is a city, not just a university. Be prepared for crowds in summer.
- Transportation: Take a train or bus from London Paddington station ( approx 1 hour journey)
- Accommodation: Stay in central Oxford, such as the High Street or Jericho area
Day 4: Explore Oxford
- Places to Go: The Pitt Rivers Museum (open from 10am-5pm), Eagle and Child pub (where J.R.R. Tolkien used to write)
- Activities: Visit the iconic Bodleian Library, take a stroll along the High Street
- Things to Know: Be prepared for security checks at popular attractions.
- Transportation: Use your Oyster card or take the Tube to get around Oxford
- Accommodation: Same as Day 3
Day 5: Travel to Bath
- Places to Go: Roman Baths (open from 9am-5pm), Royal Crescent (open from 10am-6pm)

Day 6: Explore Bath

- Transportation: Use your Oyster card or take the Tube to get around Bath
- Accommodation: Same as Day 5
Day 7: Return to London
- Places to Go: None planned, but you can visit any attraction you missed on Day 1-6
- Activities: Take a last-minute shopping spree in Covent Garden or Soho
- Things to Know: Make sure you have your Oyster card and phone charger ready for the journey back to London.
- Transportation: Take a train or bus from Bath station ( approx 1 hour journey)
- Accommodation: Return to your original accommodation in central London
