Day 5: Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Shamian Island

- Visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a museum dedicated to the life of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founder of modern China
- Explore the surrounding area and take some photos
- Afternoon:
- Return to Shamian Island for more exploration and shopping

Day 6: Last Day in Guangzhou
- Morning:
- Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs or exploring any last-minute attractions
- Afternoon:
- Depart for the airport or railway station for your onward journey
- Tips: Make sure to try some of the local street food and drinks, such as bubble tea and Cantonese-style roast goose. Also, be prepared for crowds and lines at popular tourist destinations.
Getting Around:
- Metro: Guangzhou has an efficient metro system with several lines covering most areas of the city.
- Bus: Buses are also widely available and a good option for shorter journeys.
- Taxi: Taxis are readily available but can be more expensive than public transportation.
- Walking: Walking is a great way to explore local neighborhoods and get some exercise.
Language: Cantonese is the primary language spoken in Guangzhou, but Mandarin Chinese is also widely understood. English is not as commonly spoken, so it’s a good idea to learn some basic Chinese phrases before your trip.
