Libya Travel Itinerary (4 days)
Day 1: Arrival in Tripoli
Morning
- Arrival: Arrive at Tripoli International Airport.
- Visa Requirements: Citizens from most countries need a visa, which can be obtained on arrival. Some nationalities have to apply for their visas before arriving in Libya.
Afternoon
- Tripoli City Tour: Start with a tour of the city’s main attractions:
- Green Book Square (Maqrab Square): The heart of Tripoli, featuring monuments and memorials from various periods.
- Souk al-Humur (Old Souk): A traditional marketplace where you can find local handicrafts, spices, and more.
- Evening
- Enjoy the local cuisine at one of the many restaurants around the city.
Things to Know
- Libya is a conservative country. Dress modestly, especially when visiting mosques or other religious sites.
- The official currency is the Libyan Dinar (LYD). Although USD is widely accepted, it’s advisable to have some local currency with you for small purchases.

Day 3: Journey to Sirte

- Travel to Sirte: Drive (approximately 2 hours) or take a bus/taxi to Sirte, a city known for its historical significance.

- Tripoli’s Beaches: Spend some time relaxing at one of Tripoli’s beaches, enjoying the local cuisine and scenery.

- Departure: Depending on your flight schedule, spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs or visiting any last-minute attractions before departing from Tripoli International Airport.
