Palau Travel Itinerary (6 Days)
Day 1: Arrival and Koror Island Exploration
Places to Go:
- Koror State Office: For orientation on Palau.
- Koror Marketplace: To experience the local culture, food, and shopping.
Activities:
- Attend a welcome ceremony at the Koror State Office to understand basic information about Palau.
- Explore the Koror Marketplace for its wide variety of local food, handicrafts, and other souvenirs. Be prepared to negotiate prices as a form of fun!
Things to Know:
- The official currency is the US dollar (USD), and credit cards are widely accepted in tourist areas.
Visa Requirements:
- For most nationalities, including citizens of the United States, there’s no need for a pre-arranged visa. However, check your nationality’s specific requirements at your embassy or consulate.
- Ensure you have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Palau.
Transportation:
- Most visitors arrive in Koror by ferry from Malakal Island (a short journey).
