Paraguay Travel Itinerary (4 days)
Day 1: Arrival and Asunción Exploration
Morning
- Arrival: Arrive at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport.

Afternoon
- National Pantheon of the Heroes: Visit this historic monument that honors the heroes who contributed to Paraguay’s independence and freedom. (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
- Palacio de López: Stop by this beautiful palace that served as a residence for President Carlos Antonio López and later for presidents up to Luis Alberto Lacalle. It now houses a museum showcasing Paraguayan history, art, and culture. (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm)
Evening
- Traditional Dinner: Enjoy traditional Paraguayan cuisine at a local restaurant. Try dishes like “Sopa Paraguaya” or “Asado.”
Day 2: San Bernardino Tour
Morning
- Transportation: Take the bus (approximately an hour journey) to San Bernardino, a small town on the Paraná River.
- Fishing and Relaxation: Spend time fishing in the river or simply relax at one of the many beaches nearby.
Afternoon
- San Bernardino River Park: Visit this park for more relaxation time by the river. Take in the views and enjoy any local street food available.
Day 3: Encarnación City Tour
Morning
- Transportation: Bus back to Asunción, then take another bus or taxi (about an hour journey) to Encarnación.
- Encarnación Cathedral: Visit this beautiful cathedral that combines Gothic and Baroque architectural styles. (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
- Museum of Ethnography: Spend some time at this museum showcasing the history and culture of indigenous peoples. (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm)
Evening

Day 4: More Asunción Exploration
Morning

- Independence Plaza: Stop by this historic site where the country declared its independence in 1811.
Afternoon
- Shopping: Spend some time shopping for souvenirs or trying out local delicacies.
- Return Flight: Depart from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport back home.
