Seychelles-6-day-itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Mahé Island
- Morning: Arrive at Seychelles International Airport on Mahé Island
- Afternoon: Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting accustomed to your surroundings.
- Things to know:
- Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands, with Mahé being the largest island.
- The official languages are English, French, and Creole.
- The local currency is the Seychellois rupee (SCR), but USD and EUR are widely accepted.
- Transportation: Taxi or bus from the airport to your hotel ( approx. 30 minutes)
Day 2: Mahé Island
- Morning: Visit the beautiful Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to the unique Coco-de-Mer palm tree and a variety of endemic species.
- Afternoon: Head to Victoria Market, where you can find local handicrafts, souvenirs, and fresh produce. Don’t miss trying some delicious Creole cuisine at one of the local eateries.
- Things to do:
- Hike to the top of Morne Seychellois for breathtaking views
- Visit the Sir Selwyn Clarke Market for more local shopping
- Transportation: Taxi or bus from Victoria ( approx. 10-15 minutes)
Day 3: La Digue Island
- Morning: Take a ferry from Mahé to La Digue Island ( approx. 30 minutes)
- Afternoon: Visit the stunning Anse Source d’Argent Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Seychelles.
- Things to do:
- Rent a bike and explore the island
- Snorkel or dive at Anse Georgette Beach for an unforgettable experience
- Transportation: Ferry from Mahé to La Digue (return ticket required)
Day 4: Praslin Island
- Morning: Take a ferry from La Digue to Praslin Island ( approx. 20 minutes)
- Afternoon: Visit the Cousin Island Nature Reserve, which is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including giant tortoises and frigatebirds.
- Things to do:
- Explore the island’s beautiful beaches
- Snorkel or dive at the crystal-clear waters
- Transportation: Ferry from La Digue to Praslin (return ticket required)
Day 5: Sainte Anne Island
- Morning: Take a ferry from Mahé to Sainte Anne Island ( approx. 30 minutes)
- Afternoon: Visit the beautiful Grand Anse Beach, which offers stunning views of the surrounding islands.
- Things to do:
- Snorkel or dive in the crystal-clear waters
- Enjoy water sports, such as kayaking or paddleboarding
- Transportation: Ferry from Mahé to Sainte Anne (return ticket required)
Day 6: Departure
- Morning: Return to Mahé Island and spend some time shopping for souvenirs or exploring the island.
- Afternoon: Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
