Day 1:

Afternoon
1:00 PM - Lunch at a Local Restaurant
- Try some of Togo’s delicious cuisine, such as Akara (fried bean cakes), Gbegle (plantain fufu), or Poulet Fricassee (chicken stew)
- Wash it down with some cold Kpalbé (a local beer)
2:30 PM - Explore the Grand Marché
- Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Togo’s largest market
- Browse stalls selling fresh produce, crafts, and souvenirs
Evening
6:00 PM - Sunset at the Atlantic Coast
- Head to the coast to watch the sunset over the ocean
- Take a stroll along the beach or go for a swim (if you’re feeling adventurous!)
8:00 PM - Dinner at a Seafront Restaurant
- Enjoy some fresh seafood and take in the views of the ocean
Things to Know:
- Togolese currency is the West African CFA franc (XOF)
- Credit cards are not widely accepted, so it’s best to have local currency on hand
- Be prepared for crowds and noise at the markets and beaches
Day 2:
