Trinidad and Tobago 6-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Port of Spain
- Arrival: Arrive at Piarco International Airport in Trinidad
- Visa Requirements: No visa required for citizens of most countries. Check with the Ministry of National Security for specific requirements.
- Transportation: Take a taxi or shuttle to your hotel, or rent a car for the duration of your stay.
- Places to Go:
- The Red House: The official residence and office of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago. (Open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm)
- Queen’s Park Savannah: A large public park in the heart of Port of Spain. Take a leisurely walk or rent a bike.
- Things to Know:
- Trinidad and Tobago is a predominantly Christian country with a strong influence of Hinduism and Islam.
- The local currency is the Trinidad and Tobago dollar (TTD). US dollars are widely accepted, but you may receive change in TT dollars.
Day 2: Asa Wright Nature Centre and Maracas Beach
- Places to Go:
- Asa Wright Nature Centre: A world-renowned birdwatching destination. Take a guided tour or explore the surrounding forest on your own.
- Maracas Beach: One of Trinidad’s most popular beaches, known for its stunning views and crystal-clear waters.

Day 3: Tobago
- Transportation: Take a ferry from Scarborough (Trinidad) to Plymouth (Tobago). The journey takes approximately 1 hour.

- Fort King George: A historic fort built in 1776 to protect against pirate attacks.

Day 6: Departure
