Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
- Arrive at Entebbe International Airport
- Proceed through customs and immigration (visa on arrival for most nationalities)
- Transfer to your hotel in Kampala (approximately 45 minutes journey)
- Spend the day relaxing or exploring the nearby Lake Victoria waterfront
- Accommodation: Hotel in Kampala (e.g. Speke Resort Munyonyo)
Day 2: Explore Kampala
- Breakfast at your hotel
- Visit the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary (approximately $30 entrance fee)
- Explore the Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Visit the Uganda National Museum to learn about the country’s history and culture
- Things to know: Be prepared for busy streets and traffic in Kampala. Use reputable taxi services or ride-sharing apps.
- Transportation: Private transfers or public taxis (approximately $5-$10)
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
- Drive to Murchison Falls National Park (approximately 4 hours journey)
- Enter the park and take a game drive in search of wildlife such as lions, elephants, and giraffes
- Visit the top of the falls for breathtaking views (approximately $30 entrance fee)
- Things to know: Be prepared for early morning game drives. Bring binoculars and a camera.
- Accommodation: Lodge or camping within the park (e.g. Murchison Falls Safari Lodge)
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking
- Early morning chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest (approximately $50 entrance fee)
- Visit the nearby Gulu market for local handicrafts and souvenirs
- Things to know: Trackers will provide guidance on the best spots to see chimps. Bring a camera and binoculars.
- Transportation: Private transfers or public taxis (approximately $10-$20)
Day 5: Kibale National Park
- Drive to Kibale National Park (approximately 2 hours journey)
- Take a guided forest walk in search of the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos)

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park

- Visit the nearby Kyambura Gorge for stunning views of the Kazinga Channel
- Things to know: Be prepared for early morning game drives. Bring binoculars and a camera.
- Accommodation: Lodge or camping within the park (e.g. Mweya Safari Lodge)
Day 7: Return to Entebbe
- Drive back to Entebbe International Airport (approximately 4 hours journey)
- Depart from Uganda
