Vanuatu 5-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Port Vila

  • Things to know: Don’t forget to exchange your money at a local currency exchange office. The Vatu (VUV) is the local currency, but USD is widely accepted.

Day 2: Port Vila

  • Breakfast: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel or a local café.
  • Activities:
    • Take a ferry to Efate Island for some snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful waters of Moso Beach.

Visa Requirements:

  • Citizens of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and other Pacific nations don’t require a visa to enter Vanuatu.
  • Citizens of other countries can obtain an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) online or upon arrival at the airport.
  • The ETA costs around VUV 2000 (approximately USD 70).

Transportation:

  • The best way to get around Port Vila is by walking or using local taxis.
  • For inter-island travel, take a ferry from Port Vila to nearby islands like Pei Island and Mystery Island.
