Day 1: Exploring the Main Island
Morning
- 9:00 AM: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at one of the local cafes in Road Town, the capital of Virgin Gorda.
- 10:00 AM: Visit the The Baths, a unique natural wonder featuring white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Take a guided tour to explore the hidden pools and coves.
- 12:30 PM: Grab lunch at a nearby restaurant, such as The Fish Trap or Willie T’s.
Afternoon
- 1:30 PM: Head to Sprat Bay, where you can snorkel or simply relax on the beach. Keep an eye out for sea turtles and colorful fish!
- 3:30 PM: Visit the Virgin Gorda Artworks gallery, showcasing local artwork and crafts.
Evening
- 6:00 PM: Enjoy a sunset dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants in Road Town, such as The Cheesecake Factory or Sprat Inn.
- 8:00 PM: Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, taking in the sights and sounds of this charming island town.
Day 2: Island Hopping and Beach Time
Morning
- 9:00 AM: Take a ferry from Virgin Gorda to The Bubbly Pool on Jost Van Dyke. This natural rock pool is a must-see, with its bubbling waters and stunning views.
- 11:30 AM: Visit the nearby Great Harbour, where you can grab lunch at one of the local bars or restaurants.
Afternoon
- 1:00 PM: Head to White Bay Beach on Jost Van Dyke, known for its white sandy beach and crystal-clear waters. Spend some time relaxing in a beach chair or taking a dip in the ocean.
- 3:30 PM: Visit the famous Soggy Dollar Bar, where you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail (or two) and take in the stunning views.
Important Information
- Visa Requirements: As a British overseas territory, Virgin Islands does not require a visa for entry. However, please ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your stay.
- Transportation:
- Ferries: Regular ferries operate between the islands. You can book tickets in advance through the ferry operators or at the dock on the day of travel.
- Taxis and rental cars are also available on each island.
- Currency: The US dollar is the official currency, but credit cards and traveler’s checks are widely accepted.
