Water Activities in Madrid
Madrid, being a landlocked city, does not have direct access to oceans or large lakes. However, there are some opportunities for water-based activities within and around the city.

However, if you’re willing to travel outside of Madrid, here are some options:
- El Escorial: Located about an hour outside of Madrid, El Escorial has a small lake where you can rent kayaks or paddleboats. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

- Valsaín: Another hour outside of Madrid, Valsaín has a large reservoir where you can go sailing or rent boats. It’s a beautiful spot for outdoor enthusiasts.

- Metro: Fuencarral - Pardo (then take bus 661)
- Manzanares el Real: This town is about an hour and a half outside of Madrid and has several rivers and streams where you can go rafting or kayaking. It’s a great spot for adventure seekers.

- Metro: Fuencarral - Pardo (then take bus 663)
