Water Activities in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital city of Cambodia, may not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking of water activities. However, the city has a few hidden gems for those looking to get wet and enjoy some fun in the sun.

Tonle Sap River

Located just 15km north of Phnom Penh, Tonle Sap is South-East Asia’s largest freshwater lake. Visitors can take a day-trip or join a guided tour to explore the surrounding waterways, try their hand at fishing, or simply relax on the riverbank and enjoy the scenery.

River Cruises

Take a leisurely cruise along the Mekong River, which runs through the heart of Phnom Penh. Enjoy the city’s skyline while learning about its rich history and culture from knowledgeable guides. Many cruise operators offer sunset cruises with delicious local cuisine and refreshing drinks.

Kayaking or Canoeing
